Pallavi Joshi is a Geriatric Psychiatrist at Banner Alzheimer’s Institute in Phoenix, AZ and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix. She is also the Associate Program Director of the Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at University of Arizona. She completed her fellowship in Geriatric Psychiatry at Yale School of Medicine and residency at Northwell Health - Staten Island University Hospital, where she was Chief Resident. She has held leadership and scientific committee positions in AAGP, American Psychiatric Association, and the American Academy of Addiction Psychiatry. She is the ACTC Co-PI for Banner Alzheimer's Institute.
Roma Patel
Site Liaison
Roma Patel is the Clinical Trials Director for Banner Alzheimer’s Institute in Phoenix and has been a part of the department and Alzheimer’s disease (AD) research since 2014. She started her medical and research career in 2003 working in family medicine and ob/gyn while completing high school and undergraduate studies and continued working for the same practice until completion of her BS in Biology in 2008 from NMSU. In 2009, Roma moved to Tucson, Arizona to complete her graduate studies and started working in oncology and gastroenterology research upon completing her MS/MBA program. After 5 years of oncology/GI research, Roma moved to Phoenix, Arizona to be a part of the well renowned and respected care model at Banner Alzheimer’s Institute. Roma spends her time at BAI managing the clinical trials team and overseeing between 25-30 clinical trials and programs. She currently serves as the ACTC Site Liaison and sits on the ACTC SPINS Committee. In her down time, you may find Roma walking the Grand Canal or at the Tennis courts.
