Gregory Jicha, MD, PhD

Gregory Jicha received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bronx, N.Y. He then completed a fellowship at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minn. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Personal Statment Being a part of an organization that has the ability to drive and to move the field forward on the cutting edge is extremely rewarding. I have an MD and a PhD, which means I not only take care of patients, but I also am at the cutting edge of finding cures for diseases like Alzheimer's. Patient care really boils down to bedside manner, which I believe comes from your life experiences. The art of being a doctor is being able to reach out to folks across the spectrum of what it is to be human. Being a physician and having the freedom to care for patients one-on-one is remarkably rewarding.

Molly Harper has been at the University of Kentucky Sanders Brown Center on Aging since 2015. She is currently a Clinical Trials Manager at Sanders Brown, overseeing the day-to-day operations of clinical trials on Alzheimer’s and other dementias and supervising a team of clinical trial coordinators. Originally from Miami, FL, her passion for Alzheimer’s research began in 2012 at the Wien Center at Mount Sinai Medical Center on Miami Beach where she was an intern and then a clinical trials coordinator. Molly’s desire to help those with dementia and their loved ones, led her to seek a Master’s degree at King’s College London in Advanced Care in Dementia. She looks forward to the day when Alzheimer’s has a cure.
