Dr. Petrice Cogswell is an Associate Professor of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is a diagnostic neuroradiologist and member of the Aging and Dementia Imaging Research Laboratory. Her research interests include the temporal evolution of Alzheimer’s disease biomarkers and amyloid-related imaging abnormalities (ARIA).
Clinical trials have long relied on standardized brain MRI protocols to provide accurate identification and monitoring of ARIA. With the FDA approval of amyloid-targeting therapies, these imaging protocols are now being translated into in clinical practice. This presentation by Dr. Cogswell from the ACTC Steering Committee Meeting on October 1, 2024 discusses the implications of this shift as well as what we can expect for the future of ARIA imaging.
